Our Team
Andre Cheded
CEO, Andre a has a Dip. Constructions and Business Management, is an experienced and passionate Manager with extensive business operational and portfolio management background. Skills include strong leadership and coaching to motivate teams to achieve positive outcomes. This is combined with excellent communication to build and maintain customer relationships. Strong analytical, strategic and technical skills are combined with the ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels. Being one of the founding members of a successful retail tile store has allowed Andre to explore other related businesses within the building industry. Andre now successfully manages and overseas a Supply and Install business, a Wholesale business and a number of online trading businesses. Andre is passionate about giving back to an industry that has given to him.
Christopher Ayers
General Manager, Chris has been in the industry for over 20 years, having worked for a publicly listed company for over 10 years. Starting out as a Sales Representative Chris quickly worked his way up to middle management and was given exposure to the production division of the business, he was then further promoted to National Procurement Manager and so began his exposure to the Tile Industry, Chris spent countless hours within factories developing ranges of tiles for Eureka Tiles (a division of Brickworks) in China, Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand. Chris also holds qualifications within the business management sector and through his time at Brickworks and within the industry has been exposed to Crisis management, Risk management, Stock Management, Systems implementation, Business Strategy, Merges and Acquisitions, Company Buy outs, Finance, Marketing, Sales Management and Public Relations from investors through to end customers. Chris’ exposure is Australia Wide with close connections within the New Zealand Market. Chris is passionate about product development procurement and plays a huge role in the products that are available.
John Grigg
John Grigg is Stone & Ceramic Tile Wholesalers National Sales Manager. With over 18 years of exceptional industry experience, including his remarkable journey from his roots in Commercial Sales to Managing Director, John brings a wealth of expertise to our company. John’s professional journey began in the dynamic field of commercial sales, where he quickly rose through the ranks of an Italian mosaic manufacturing company in the APAC region.
Tony Scarfone
Sales Manager, Tony is another long standing employee of the Tile industry. Having owned retail outlets in the past Tony has a deep understanding of what works within stores and is committed to innovation of displays and merchandise within stores. Tony has been involved with start-up businesses in previous employment and as a result holds relationships with key stores in strategic areas of the market. Tony has been active in the importation of tiles and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the European Manufacture sector. Tony has managed and trained numerous names that remain in the industry and have gone on to varying senior rolls across various sectors of the tile industry. His eye for detail is second to none and commitment to perfection is a key asset.
Matthew McDonald
Development Manager, Matt’s role as business development manager for Stone and Ceramic Tile wholesalers is to further grow the network of resellers and strengthen on already formed relationships. Matt brings to the table industry experience having worked and managed roles within the industry from warehousing through to sales. Matts ability to engage across all levels of business enhances the presence of Stone and Ceramic Wholesalers within the market. Matt holds qualifications within the industry ensuring the level of workmanship and detail he provides the business will flow on to new and existing customers.
Monica Glodek
Monica is passionate about her role as Customer Service and brings a wealth of experience both within the tile wholesale sector along with other private sector business’. Monica is customer focused and people driven, her role is to deliver accurate and timely information and has been a vital part of the introduction of our new inventory management system. Monica through her previous experience has relationships across all levels of business and is very process and system driven.
